2015: The Year with Surprises

Time is amazing, isn’t it?

It flies by and escapes us before we even have an inkling to think about it. It moves around on it’s own, without a care for anything else. It truly is a wibbly, wobbly, timey, wimey thing, as a good Doctor once said. It brings some surprises, both good and bad.

I’m just now getting back to blogging after taking time off for the holidays. Imagine my surprise when I looked at my stats and saw this thing has over 500 followers! Like, what?! Well, either someone paid you all or my writing isn’t as bad as I thought it was.

With that, welcome to C3. Actually, about that.

Another surprise is that I’m not really digging “C3” anymore. I’ve thought about it and it just puts me in too much of a cage of what to write about. I write about theology, marriage, comedy, gaming; I don’t really hold it down it to one specific thing. Now, I’ll spend more time writing about one subject more than others, primarily Christian stuff. But every now and then, I want to write about a video game. Or something really nerdy. I don’t know, I do what I want!

So, I’m thinking of going with “The Fellow Christian”. I mean, isn’t that what we all are? Fellow Christians? I’m just another one of you, with some opinions, a loud-mouth but with some jokes to share as well. So, with that, welcome to The Fellow Christian.

Now what to talk about?

Let’s talk about…making hard decisions.

It’s so hard not to put yourself in a little box here on WordPress. My blog is about dogs and birds, and that is what I have a deep passion for. However, sometimes I want to tell people that the cheesecake I baked was awesome or the latest installment of Final Fantasy is the best yet (yes, another gamer here!). I am still trying to find a balance, and maybe an new blog title is in order. You have definitely given me something to think about, and I look forward to reading your posts! Cheers.
